Something about Aaron...
I have worked as a freelance journalist for various magazines, journals and newspapers around the world.

I have a Master's Degree in Journalism and currently work as the Editor of The Torres News, an independent tabloid newspaper in Australia's remote northern Torres Strait, just south of Papua New Guinea.

In 2014 I received a Queensland Clarion Journalism Award for Indigenous Issues, beating the Australian Newspaper and the ABC.

I have spoken at Literary Festivals in Australia, New Zealand and USA.

My first book Shanti Bloody Shanti, an Indian Odyssey was reviewed by Publisher's Weekly as being one of the top ten travel books in 2013.

Prior to journalism and writing books I wrote plays that were performed by various producers, including La Mama, in Fringe, Comedy and Arts Festivals in Melbourne.

I have also previously worked as an actor, musician, truck driver, construction worker and dish pig. I've also grifted as a card shark in India, a barman in Barcelona and an English teacher in Brazil.
